Well the first week has been amazing, we keep commenting how smooth things are going. First and foremost Julia and our baby are happy and healthy. We're learning some of the ins and outs of baby care, and enjoying every minute of it.

My favorite time of the day is bath time. He hangs over my arm, and I bath him by gently splashing water from the sink faucet, first washing his head, and then his back side where the most cleaning is needed.

Last night friday the 6th of july was eventful, of course we decided to have an all night party for his first week birthday. While bathing him he pooped on me three times, then after his feeding he spit up on my bare chest and then Mom took over. Cause we don't have nearly the party stamina he has we partied in shifts, first mom from 12 to 3, feeding, crying changing diapers, crazy stuff in the living room. Later on at 3 the little party animal was dropped off in the bedroom and plopped in my arms.

So from three to five we held each other, watched bad american, made for tv movies, and finally at 5 i was able to gently lay him down next to me in bed and we slept nose to nose until 6. Then back to mom, to keep the party rolling!!!
